Imperial College London

As a medical student you can opt to undertake a challenging and innovative year in management at Imperial College Business School.

The aim of the BSc Management is to complement your scientific and clinical skills with business acumen. Students who successfully complete the Programme will gain a broad understanding of the management issues facing the health system and develop the capability to apply this knowledge in their future academic and professional endeavours.

The Programme is delivered across three terms and comprises pre-sessional learning via the Hub (the Business School’s bespoke online learning environment), core and specialist modules, before culminating in a major group project, which requires you to propose solutions to a real-world healthcare challenge. Whilst rigorous, the blend of formal teaching, case studies and individual and group work will develop your personal, conceptual and analytical skills and help to set you apart from the crowd.

Although the Programme has a focus on healthcare, core modules are shared thus enabling you to broaden your academic experience and collaborate with undergraduate students from other science disciplines.
