Our one-year intercalated Physiology BSc will give you the opportunity to explore the field of physiology, learning from world-renowned experts in a range of research fields, including cardiovascular biology, endocrinology, human physiology and regenerative medicine. There is a strong emphasis on understanding the pathophysiology of disease processes such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

Our taught optional modules are designed to help you to develop your independent thinking and learning, and to work in a fully self-motivated manner. The heart of your course is a project-based module, which will give you a taste of research at a high level.

Entry requirements

External students must have first time passes for years 1 and 2 and all SSCs.
