Our one-year intercalated Physiology BSc will give you the opportunity to explore the field of physiology, learning from world-renowned experts in a range of research fields, including cardiovascular biology, endocrinology, human physiology and regenerative medicine. There is a strong emphasis on understanding the pathophysiology of disease processes such as asthma, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

This intercalated Physiology BSc is a flexible course comprising a series of taught modules and a project module. Our taught optional modules are designed to help you to develop your independent thinking and learning, and to work in a fully self-motivated manner. The heart of your course is a project-based module, which will give you a taste of research at a high level. We will encourage you to attend lectures by distinguished external speakers, which we organise in recognition of famous King’s Physiologists, such as Peter Baker, William Halliburton and Robert McDowall.
External students must have first time passes for years 1 and 2 and all SSCs.
