This intercalated Masters degree will provide opportunities for students to engage with the key educational principles and philosophies of teaching and learning within the context of medical and healthcare education, including an introduction to simulation-based education. You will be supported through this process through a range of activities and formative assessments complemented by individual tutorials that encourage personal reflection and goal setting, developing you as an independent learner. You will undertake a medical education-focussed research project at the end of the year. This Masters in Medical & Healthcare Education course is accredited by Advance HE.

Entry Requirements

We welcome applications from medical students who will have completed at least 3 years of study. The timing of your entry into an intercalated scheme will be dependent on your host medical school’s policy.
